Working Safer and Faster with Extension Ladder Attachments

Extension ladders are used for many different jobs, mainly jobs that are relatively high. Higher jobs mean a greater risk for injury caused by ladder falls. Climbing and working from great heights can be overwhelming and frightening, but extension ladder attachments take some of the anxiety of ladder use away so that you can be more confident with their use. Extension ladder attachments offer greater stability, placement in awkward areas, and increase the overall safety of use.

Some Extension Ladder Attachments from Industrial Ladder

Cable Hooks: Will you be needing to use your extension ladder on cables or horizontal poles? It is permissible to install cable hooks to your fiberglass extension ladder. This allows you to access wiring and cables without the need to have a structure to lean the ladder against. With easy installation and the ability to compact for storage, these hooks are a great addition for anyone who will need to work near a cable.

Ladder Stand Off: If you will be needing to access windows or gutters of a structure, a ladder standoff is your best option. Instead of having to rest the ladder on the window or gutter system, ladder standoffs allow you to extend your rest horizontally and also farther away from the structure you are ascending. Additionally, the extra support that a ladder standoff provides makes it a great asset for any job, offering a safer overall ladder unit and better stability.

Adjustable Pole Strap: Will you be needed to ascend telephone poles with your extension ladder. The adjustable pole strap allows you to rest your extension ladder against poles without the added hazard that it poses. The pole strap allows the ladder to stay in place so that you can get to where you need to be!

Stand Off/Tool Tray: This attachment works as both a ladder standoff and also a tool tray. While you are not using it as a standoff, it provides a sturdy and slip-free place to set tools, materials, and paint. This product is for use with TSO ladders, as the other ladder standoff option is for use with the Werner fiberglass extension ladder collection.

Levelok Stabilizer: For the jobs outside or on unlevel surfaces, you will need ladder stabilizers. This pair of stabilizers is installed to the feet of your extension ladder and are easily adjustable for the perfect positioning. This allows your ladder to remain sturdy and stable while you consider and perform the job at hand.

Ladder Jacks: These handy gadgets are two jacks that are installed on any rung of your extension ladder that you desire. Once installed, they can be utilized to hold objects, materials, and painter’s platforms.

Painter’s Platforms: For use with ladder jacks, a painter’s platform creates an additional work and standing area on your extension ladder. This means farther reach and less ladder repositioning. Also, it allows you to work with both hands, as on a ladder you need one hand to keep stability at all times.
